In updating my site, I've been trying to update pages as I go. For the Sales
page, I've updated it past 2012, even though there's not really any definitive information past 2012.
April 30, 2026 - 2 More Heavy Metal Sightings
I found 2 more Heavy Metal sightings in a 1998 episode of Dawson's Creek, and in the 2018 movie Brigsby Bear. I've added them to my As Seen On TV
page.
March 25, 2026 - Heavy Metal Sighting
Thanks to Perry "Shaggy" Conn on Circle, who spotted the album art to Heavy Metal: The Movie in the 2016 show New Blood. I've added it to my As Seen On TV

March 21, 2026 - Updated A Few More Pages
While updating pages with the new software, I'm also trying to tidy things up. I've updated the menu links to what I think is a little less confusing. I would often be looking for information, and forget where I put it. Mainly I'm trying to get rid of the FAQ and About pages, and sort them in their own categories of Magazine, Movies, etc. But I've only updated some of the Magazine section so far. I have a More link that just links to all the older pages, until I get all the main pages updated.
February 25, 2026 - Site Software Update
The old software I used to build this site was last updated in 2002, when my site was fairly new. At that time, there weren’t smartphones to view the web like we do now. I also chose a black background, thinking it looked better, without consideration of readability for some. I really liked my old software, but it was extremely out of date, and a roadblock for some things I’d like to do. I plan on updating all my main pages, which you see in the links above. But I likely won’t update the subpages; as much as I’d like to. Or at least not anytime soon. Feel free to contact me

Season 4 of Love, Death & Robots
is now on
Netflix, including the short "400 Boys" which was supposed to be in the Heavy Metal movie.
February 25, 2025 - We Are Zombies Added To Movies
I've added the 2023 movie, We Are Zombies
to the
Movies
page. This is based on the story, "The Zombies That Ate The World" by Jerry Frissen and Guy Davis, which was published in each issue from #8 to #14 of the English Métal Hurlant.
